Rory is a Rural Assistant based from our Alnwick office. His background is in conservation and the environment, but he has always had a strong connection with, and interest in, agriculture and combining the two fields. Having graduated from Harper Adams University in 2017 with a degree in Wildlife Conservation with Natural Resource Management, Rory has gained professional experience with the Environment Agency monitoring Water Quality and Fish Populations, the Northumberland Coast AONB as a Conservation & Land Management assistant and has a couple of harvest seasons under his belt.
Originally from East Yorkshire, Rory moved up to rural Northumberland with his family in 2002. He is a keen golfer and has played rugby for Alnwick since 2004. Rory is also a member of Alnwick Young Farmers and enjoys travelling, food and whisky.
