Nestled on the south west edge of the stunning Northumbrian Estate village of Whittingham, the site has a westerly aspect and is tiered, falling westerly in to the Whittingham Vale and towards the River Aln. The site occupies a peaceful setting within the Whittingham Conservation area and enjoys fine views over the Vale towards the Cheviot foothills and Hedgehope and The Cheviot beyond.
The site is developed for 12 rustic residential lodges, each of which will benefit from unobstructed views of the rural surroundings and village features.
The site has planning consent for 12 lodges/park homes, with full residential use. This means that the property can be utilised as your full-time residence, a rarity, not least in surroundings such as The View at Treetops. Further information and explanation can be made available on request.
Lodge pricing is dependent upon the size and specification of the lodge and your requirements, however, prices from £185,000 are attainable.
LODGE DESIGN Designers will work with you to build a home bespoke to your needs, taste and requirements in terms of furniture, appliances and floor plan. Our bases are all designed at 22' x 45' although could clearly accommodate smaller lower cost homes as required or specified. Furthermore, some of our sites may be able to accommodate slightly larger homes with some additional works.
To give an example a 22' x 45' lodge will provide a large living area, dining area, kitchen, halls and ancillary storage and utility accommodation, a principal bedroom suite, bathroom and two further bedrooms. Alternatively bespoke floor plans can be developed to include two bedroom suites, study accommodation, partitioned kitchen areas; you choose. A lodge of that scale will provide accommodation of approximately 950 - 990 sqft (88 - 92 sq m).
SERVICES Lodges will be individually serviced with mains electricity and mains water, as well as a metered LPG gas supply which will avoid the need for costly, unsightly and unwieldy gas bottles. Drainage will be to a communal treatment plant in respect of which a reasonable service charge will be levied.
PLOT FEATURES All of the plots are spacious and more generous than most similar sites, they will provide ample space for private gardens and decked seating areas, all with outstanding views over the Whittingham Vale to the Cheviot Hills. Each site will be allocated two dedicated car parking spaces.
