About the Role

As the successful Graduate Commercial General Practice Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in conducting work on behalf of new and existing clients.

The position, based at our Newcastle City centre offices, would provide an excellent opportunity to join our diverse team, including four qualified chartered surveyors, and be involved in a wide range of work across the North East and North Yorkshire in agency, property management and valuation services across mainly industrial, office and retail sectors.

Subject to performance, the position will provide the applicant with a clear career progression with the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to be supported and developed whilst working towards their APC/RICS qualification.

About You

You will be joining one of the leading, independent local firms of RICS Rural and Commercial Surveyors, Land and Estate Agents and Development Consultants and will deal with a wide variety of clients and projects.

Applicants should be able to work with enthusiasm, flexibility and have an excellent capacity for hard work and attention to detail.  Excellent communication and people skills are essential for the role, as well as competent IT skills and a valid driving licence.

You will be supported throughout your training to become a Commercial Chartered General Practice Surveyor with the RICS.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a 2:1 degree, or higher, from an RICS accredited course.  It is desirable for you to have some relevant work experience, or to be currently working within the surveying or commercial property industry.

Candidates will require an eagerness to learn and the ambition to progress your career.
